Terms of Service

The terms for using SkyyCast

These terms govern your use of SkyyCast. By creating an account or using the product, you agree to them.

Last updated: August 31, 2026

Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service form a binding agreement between you and Sangay Choda, an individually operated business (sole proprietorship) based in Bhutan, operating under the name "SkyyCast" (referred to as "SkyyCast," "we," or "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using SkyyCast, you agree to these terms.

What SkyyCast is

SkyyCast is a web-based application that lets you connect a Bluesky account, write and schedule posts for automatic publishing, and review how those posts performed.

Eligibility

You must be able to form a legally binding contract to use SkyyCast. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this requirement under the laws that apply to you.

Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when signing up, for keeping your login credentials secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know right away at connect@skyycast.com if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission.

Connecting your Bluesky account

To schedule and publish posts, you authorize SkyyCast to act on your behalf on Bluesky — publishing the posts you create and schedule, and reading post performance data. You can disconnect this authorization at any time from within the product. You remain responsible for the content of everything you schedule, exactly as if you had posted it yourself, and for complying with Bluesky's own terms of service and community guidelines.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use SkyyCast to:

  • Schedule or publish content that is illegal, or that violates Bluesky's own rules.
  • Attempt to access another user's account, scheduled posts, or data.
  • Interfere with or attempt to disrupt SkyyCast's infrastructure, including the scheduler that publishes posts on your behalf.
  • Use the product to spam, harass, or mislead others.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

Scheduled and automated posting

When you schedule a post, SkyyCast attempts to publish it automatically at the time you chose. We work to make this reliable, but publishing depends on Bluesky's own availability and on your Bluesky connection remaining valid — for example, if your connection's authorization expires or is revoked, a scheduled post may fail to publish. SkyyCast will mark a failed post as failed and, where possible, show you why, but we cannot guarantee that every scheduled post will publish successfully or at the exact scheduled time.

Your content

You retain ownership of the posts and content you create and schedule through SkyyCast. You're solely responsible for that content, for having the right to publish it, and for making sure it complies with these terms and with Bluesky's own rules. SkyyCast only uses your content to provide the service — to schedule it, publish it to Bluesky on your behalf, and show it back to you in your queue and history.

SkyyCast's intellectual property

SkyyCast, its name, and its software are owned by Sangay Choda. Using SkyyCast doesn't give you any ownership interest in the product itself — only the right to use it under these terms.

Free and Pro plans

SkyyCast offers a Free plan that includes up to 15 successful scheduled publishes per calendar month, and a Pro plan, priced at $9/month, that removes that limit and unlocks additional features such as advanced performance analytics.

Subscriptions and billing

Pro subscriptions are billed at $9/month on a recurring basis and processed by Paddle, which acts as our Merchant of Record for your purchase. Your payment method, invoicing, and payment security are handled entirely by Paddle under its own terms. SkyyCast determines your Pro access based on the subscription status Paddle reports to us.

You can cancel your subscription at any time; your Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period. Refund requests are handled according to Paddle's applicable refund policy and applicable consumer protection laws — we do not separately guarantee refunds beyond what Paddle provides. See our Refund Policy for more detail.

Third-party services

SkyyCast depends on third-party services to work: Bluesky (to publish your posts), Google (for sign-in), Render (for hosting and data storage), Cloudflare (for media storage), and Paddle (for billing). We're not responsible for outages, changes, or errors originating from these third-party services, though we work to accommodate them where reasonably possible.

Service availability

We aim to keep SkyyCast available and reliable, but the service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without guaranteed uptime. We may need to take the service down temporarily for maintenance, or modify, add, or discontinue features, with or without notice.

Disclaimers

SkyyCast is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SkyyCast and Sangay Choda are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the product, including a scheduled post that fails to publish, publishes late, or publishes content you no longer wanted sent.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold SkyyCast and Sangay Choda harmless from claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of SkyyCast, your content, or your violation of these terms.

Suspension and termination

You may stop using SkyyCast at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, or if we reasonably believe your account poses a risk to SkyyCast or other users. Sections of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — such as your responsibility for content you already published — will continue to apply.

Changes to SkyyCast

We may add, change, or remove features of SkyyCast over time as the product evolves. We aim to avoid disrupting your existing scheduled posts or account access when we do.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continuing to use SkyyCast after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Bhutan, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
